Polypropylene Polybags

Polypropylene (abbreviated PP) is a thermoplastic, resistant and flexible polymer used in a wide range of applications. The most interesting product ,from the commercial point of view, is the isotactic: a semi-crystalline polymer characterized by a high tensile strength, low density, good thermal resistance and abrasion. It was created in 1954 by the Italian Giulio Natta in collaboration with the German Karl Ziegler, and earned him the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1964.

Polypropylene has had considerable success in the italian and worldwide plastics industry: many everyday objects such as rugs, colander, dashboards of cars, hail nets, CD cases are made of polypropylene.

Legoplast for over twenty years has included in its production, the use of polypropylene for the construction of the polybags.

For all these reasons Legoplast invests and believes in this material.

Its use allows to obtain polybags with characteristics that make them unique, such as: high transparency , very soft raw materials and compliant with R.E.A.C.H. rules.
